The area of Nambucca Heads is well known as a surfing location. Plan to stop in at the Pub With No Beer Brewery. Contrary to its name, there are a number of good beers available here and it is one of the most famous breweries in the area. They also have a nice patio where you can enjoy a meal.
Nature lovers will have a great time on the John Davies Rainforest Walk. There are a few different paths depending on how long you want to walk for, but each of them will bring you close to the flora and fauna of the region. You will also see and hear a number of the colourful birds that are found there, so make sure to remember your camera when you embark on this trip.
The beaches here are known to be very clean and it is said that the sand even squeaks beneath your feet it is so pristine. The water is also clean and perfect for swimming. To make a complete day at the beach you can take advantage of picnic areas and barbecues that are free for use. One of the best things about the beaches here is that they are often not crowded.
